He's just plain wrong. Jesus Christ is the easy answer (Ephesians 1:3). The mystery has been revealed (Eph. 3:1-10; Colossians 1:25-27) through Paul.
God is not the object of our knowledge. He's the source of our knowledge through Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 1:30; Col. 2:2-3) and the object of our worship (Rom 11:36).
God is not the cause of our wonder because He is not a God of confusion (1 Cor. 14:33). He has given us everything pertaining to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
Sorry, but this guy is putting forth spiritual jibberish and nonsense. Jesus Christ is all (Col. 3:11) and He's all you need.

"...which from their verbosity, their endless tautologies, their involutions of case within case, and parenthesis within parenthesis, and their multiplied efforts at certainty by saids and aforesaids, by ors and by ands, to make them more plain, do really render them more perplexed and incomprehensible, not only to common readers, but to lawyers themselves. For a Jew: From Shlomo ha-Melech, the wisest of men: Ultimately, all is known; fear G–d, and observe His commandments; for this is the whole purpose of man.
If you're interested in the Jewish perspective:

Oh, "fear" is not a good translation from Hebrew. There are a lot of things that are poorly translated from the Hebrew to Greek to English. "Awe" is a better word but still not entirely accurate. Probably more the recognition that we are nothing and that He is everything. "Ein Od Milvado." Easier to clarify in a discussion rather than a post.Comment

Also from Chabad re "fear":
Maimonides writes:
Anyone who serves out of love and occupies himself with Torah and mitzvot and follows the ways of wisdom should not do so for any earthly reason or out of fear of the curses or to receive the blessings, but should fulfill the truth because it is the truth. Out of this he will receive goodness. This level is a very high one, and not every wise person attains it. This is the level of Abraham the Patriarch, whom God called His `friend', for the reason that he served God solely out of love. This is a level which God commanded, via Moses, us to attain, as it is written, "And you shall love the Lord your God". Once a person loves God appropriately, he will fulfill the commandments out of love.
The Shelah comments that this that the Rambam calls love is actually the very basic level of service out of true fear. In the language of the Chassidic masters, this is called "accepting the yoke of heaven" and is the beginning of all service.Comment

The Christian Church often, or usually, does its best to ignore the "Jewishness"(for lack of a better word) of much of the Bible. Most of the Bible, more specifically the Old Testament, is a book written by Jews, about Jews, for Jews.
If one doesn't understand the historical background and usage of the words and ideas, one often gets the wrong idea of what's being said.
If one applies those understandings, one may find that what the Bible is really saying and that may be much different than what the Christian Church has said.Comment

Israelites. Don't confuse the two. It's easy to do. The Bible does, or at least most English translations do.
