Nice to see a few more, I am also in Missouri Synod. Raised Presbyterian and wandered into Charismatic & what I would call "Modern Evangelical" before I was exposed to Lutheran preaching, teaching and reading Luther's Small Catechism as well as some of the other articles and writings in the BoC (it's a work in progress).

Escaped Lutheranism a long time ago, the frozen chosen. Now consider myself Christian without a particlar church label.

I'm similar to sd shooter. I was raised in a very legalistic Lutheran Brethren church that pretty much considered anything that was fun to be a sin. I've since been to numerous different churches since but don't associate regularly with any.

Mom Lutheran dad was Christian Science, I'm a nothing but when pressed I describe it as Diet Catholic
