If you refer to Satan, in scripture we are not given a full description of the facts regarding the events of Satan’s fall. I, too, am curious about many of the details.

We know that Satan was an angel created by God. He was also created with free will and had the ability to choose for himself whether or not he would obey God. Satan decided for himself that he would be disobedient.

We should remember, also, that Satan is a being that is of a different creation than man, and has a different accountability to God than man.

Correct, and I don't think we call Satan's rebellion "sin", that is what we humans are inflicted with. Please cite the reference that calls Satan's actions "Sin".

Satan's fall from grace was because of pride; he wanted to be greater than God. Pride is a sin, so yes his actions were sinful.

Based on your profile, you can ask him when you see him.

Evil has always existed or there couldn't be good or a God.

And don't think God didn't know what would happen when he put Adam and Eve in the garden. He didn't randomly pick something for them not to do, to then be surprised that they did it.

What IS "Original Sin?" Simple - the desire to BE God.

What was Lucifer's sin? He though his REFLECTED Glory of the Lord, was actually HIS own glory. He rebelled, and was cast out. And HOW did he get his revenge? By ruining God's GOOD creation, by tempting Adam & Eve to commit his SAME sin.

                      James 1:14-15
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Though the Devil is not a human, his process was no different from our own.

Lucifer was #2 in the universe - it was conceivable to him that he could make the jump to #1. Lucifer's sin is of the "Pride of Life" variety. He was proud of his own power, rank, and beauty. His pride made him arrogant, and his arrogance made him think he could overthrow God.
