    Voice recorder holster options

So, I was issued an Olympus voice recorder with a tex shoemaker holder/holster. The only issue I have with the holder is that it has a button snap on the loop where my Sam Browne loops through. It rides pretty low and it will become unsnapped with a fairly minimal amount of movement. What basket weave holders are you guys using? Or how are you guys carrying your voice recorders? I am debating on just carrying it inside of my shirt pocket. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as which holders to use? It has to be basket weave. Thanks!

I always carried my recorder in my shirt pocket. I carried personally owned recorders that were the smallest on the market. I didn't get issued a recorder until I went to detectives and they were junk.

I knew a motor officer who put it in his pocket and ran an mic out to his sleeve so it would be right in the persons face

Mine goes from shirt pocket to left hand then back to shirt pocket.

When I wore a basketweave belt I carried it in a single mag pouch. Worked great.

I carry in my shirt pocket (actually my uniform has a pocket behind the pocket and it goes in the back pocket so it doesn't print through the uniform).

I throw mine in my shirt pocket. just a standard Olympus recorder that was donated to me by a retiring officer years ago. Audio is perfectly clear and has even been played a handful of times at domestic violence trials where the victim changes her story.

You don't need to spend big money or have a wazoo setup. The simpler your setup is, the better off you are.
