PHS listing 80% builds

So I'm filling out my PHS and I'm unsure on how to list my 80% builds as they are unmarked.

I'm not trying to hide anything I just don't want to confuse/scare my BI and possibly get cut.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Like firearms mfg before 1968 no serial number required put n/s in space used for serial number just like done on 4473 atf form.

I just said that I owned 2 California legal AR-15s when doing my PHS.

I was just asked what I owned. Not serial numbers or anything like that.

My BI was really cool and was into guns/hunting.

My PHS packet requests: Make, Model, Caliber, and serial # of all registered and/or possessed firearms. I'm hoping my BI is a gun guy!

ok imo I would do:
Make: (80% lower manufacturer) ex. "Tactical Machining"
Model: "AR-15"
Caliber: "Multi"
Serial#: "N/S (GCA68)"

But first before actually putting anything down, I would ask an actual cop.

Also, be ready to explain it all. I had to and it can get a little nerve racking. You will get a funny look at first.

My BI was looking at me and asked, "wait you build your own firearms?"
My response, "Yeah, gunsmithing is a hobby of mine. I almost went to school for it but its not what I want to do for a living. Everything I do is completely legal and in accordance with CA law."
