Disrespect? While on line at the demos yesterday know what was yelled at the cops?

"F you. I hope your wife kills herself and your children."
"I hope you get murdered in front of your family"
"I hope you get raped and murdered" (to a female cop)
"I hope your wife slits your throat"
"I hope (insert any hugely violent scene towards me/family)"

That's not disrespect. That's pure hate.

Ha! In that case a belated

Over this last week, I was told "**** you!", flipped off thousands times, struck a few times, had bottles of piss thrown at me, lightbulbs full of paint, I got hit in the chest by 1/2 of a brick (thank God for all that scary looking protective equipment). I was told to "watch my back", called "pig" "murderer" "racist", and all kinds of other nastiness that's not worth repeating.

The worst was a mom with her three or four year old daughter. They were walking down the police line and as they past me I heard the mother telling the daughter that we (Law Enforcement) are "bad men who do bad things and hurt people". Talk about brainwashing.

The video wasn't bad just, but when you are by yourself or with others and things are going poorly working in LE or any other hazardous field no music plays and no inspirational people are talking in your head. It is just you your wits, training, physical/mental ability, reason, and will to survive.

Times are getting bad and are only going to get worse. Not LEO and LEO alike be safe and don't be quick to judge.

Sgt. played this during briefing last week. The mood changed in the room... I think everyone in there was ready to go 10-8 and got their batteries recharged... We never forget what we signed up for and as cliche as it sounds are main focus is to help fellow man from falling victim to wolf...
