Not a cop but have a lot of flashlight experience.
I would say a Surefire C2 or 6P preferally a bored one to accept an 18650 battery.
They are top of the line, lifetime warranty, and there lots of quality aftermarket parts for it.
LED technology is evolving fast and the good about this lights is that you can always upgrade the LED engine. A malkoff drop or an oveready drop in would give you a tank of a light
I bought a used one CL not long ago. It was beat up the switch was not working anymore. I took it to Surefire and they gave me a new switch, new batteries, new p60 in and cleaned it up. All Free of charge and I'm not even a cop.Last edited by Lightjag; 11-14-2014, 1:07 AM.Comment

I work in Petrol in a refinery here in California and i can tell you, the 'torches' i.e. flashlights, are ****e, I use a Surefire EB1, as my primary. It's an excellent torch for low light situations. it is a bit pricey, but it was well worth it, for my (and the communities) well being.Wtb: Lee-Enfield .22lr Trainer, Mk V ~ Jungle Carbine or an Ishapore L2A1
I'm a Scot. We wear kilts and like curvy gingers that make a right meat-pie.
