Even use a seven point badge with state capitol and grizzly bear as logo.

I recieved their mailer today. First thing I noticed was that they claim they represent LE.

YES, on Prop 47

"Safe Neighborhoods and Schools

Supported by LE leaders, Prop 47 prioritizes violent and serious crimes, and invests hundreds of millions in crime prevention."

Any comments on their claims and use of Badge as logo by active or retired LE?

Not sure what exactly copsvoterguide.com is... PORAC (California's largest association of LEO's) isn't supporting it

Both LASD's association (ALADS) and LAPD's (LLPPL) are opposed to prop 47. Two of the biggest LE "unions" in the state and they are urging a "no" vote. Thank goodness too!

Prop 47's sponsors are LIARS. The true origin of that flyer should be renamed to "Friends of Felons."

Never heard of the organization. PORAC usually represents a line level view of relevant issues and opposes this measure.

A quick check shows it is run by a 30+ year political consultant (Moran). Organizations his companies have worked on the behalf of include everyone from LAPD Protective League to various democratic campaigns, NAACP and Sierra Club.

Maybe the guide represents some LE pov (i.e. Chiefs and Sheriffs or the AG) but I saw no info as to who in LE puts forth the view. Or the piece could be advising LEO's what his group thinks is in their best interest.

Right on...They are an advertising vehicle period. The politician or measure proponents pay and they are included...

They're a made up group who will print your cause or candidate for a fee and do not represent any actual LEO organizations or their endorsements.
