Good luck with everything man. Dunno about BART but my agency is in the Bay Area, you gotta run a 7 min mile, 50 push ups, 35 sit ups I believe in one minute, the wall and the dummy drag. Doesn't matter how big you are as long as you pass. The run gets a lot of people. Its a quick pace. Start dieting and running. Not to discourage you but I hope you dont have an aggressive personality thats looking to be proactive, cause BART is not the agency for it. Any how hope it all works for you bro, there are some good dudes at BART.

Check with BART to find out what they're physical stadards are, including max allowable BMI. Competition will be stiff; they will have plenty of fit candidates to choose from. Showing up overweight can give the impression of a lack of interest and serious dedication to the profession - there will be plenty of time to get fat after you're hired and pass probation. Also, they are looking for candidates that know the difference between their Taser and sidearm.
