    Favorite duty gun?

Past or Present. Shotgun, Rifle, Revolver or semi? Pics if you've got them.

I personally love the look of the Smith and Wesson model 3000 in a folding stock with a light on it, Not sure how many PD's issued them though. *No I'm not LEO*

if your talking about taking it into the bathroom.. I'm going to go with something polymer & rust resistant so I can wash it off like glock.

but I think you mean the other kind of "duty" , so I'm going to say Remington 870.

It has been there! and done that!
and shot the heck out of the bubble gum ..until I was all out of bubblegum.

its like the military's ma deuce 50 caliber M2. It just keeps going and going.

when a Leo's eventually go to a phased plasma rifle.
    they will miss them dearly.

      P226

First thing I grab when things go bump in the night ( or bang as is the case in my neighborhood.)

I like my current Sig p226 a lot. I'm sure I'll eventually goto the M&P but not anytime soon. Most nostalgic gun is my USP .45 that I switched to when I got off training and carried up until the Sig was authorized. Had a crap trigger but hurled flying ashtrays accurately and where needed. I also liked the Ithaca boomers we had. Yeah they were old but they were light.

Sig Sauer P226R, Winchester Ranger 9mm +p+ 124gr ammo. A very deadly combo when appropriately applied.

I have to pick two: Colt Python before semi's were allowed. Then a circa 1988 Sig P226. Unfortunately, I sold both off a long time ago

I've carried a Beretta 92FS, a Glock 21 and a Glock 17 on duty. My favorite is the Glock 17. I normally carry it off duty as well (sometimes I carry my Glock 36 or 26).

I love my Glock 21SF with Truglo TFOs. Bright as hell on my first range qual day with them on.

My favorite was a Smith 686 6". Super accurate and I can still hear the sweet sound it made when clearing leather.

Heine PDP Springfield 1911 45acp.....It has never malfunctioned (Wilson mags were used).

Colt Lt Wt Commander is my 2nd choice (especially when I got older).

I've only known carrying the Sig P226R .40 as a duty gun, which I like. Off duty I carry a full size Springfield loaded operator 1911 with an X300 ultra. This is my everyday/everywhere/anytime gun that I wish I could carry on duty.
I also have a G21SF which is great as well.
But I like my ARs too.
                              So many choices!
