With the recent court decision from a Long Beach shooting, departments are going to be required to release the names of officers involved in an OIS. A few guys that head out POA learned about this website that will actively search out and remove your information from the website. We are considering adding it into our dues. As i understand it there are agencies that already use this website.

Just here to spread the message. These guys are pretty cool. Talked to them on the phone personally. They do all the work for you. Internet companies that do not remove your information after being told to take it down are subject to civil suits and will have to pay you thousands of dollars.

I'd also like to see what happens when these sites have protected owner information and are hosted in other States.

Check out my buddies website, since he helped work on the legislation, he knows it very well and he has it posted on his website.

If you dont want to pay for him or one of the other companies to do the work for you, he has information and the forms available on the website so you can do it yourself. Hes a pretty good guy and does this as a business but ultimately for the safety of all leos.
