Need opinions from Drug Savvy LEO's

Let me start by saying I am Older (Really) and know next to nothing about the drug industry.. I live in an apartment complex and have new neighbors that are Loud & Constantly yelling at one another, recently I have begun to smell an odd smoky odor in my place (I don't even smoke), my friends say it smells like crack smoke.. Is there a meter or way to sniff out crack? I don't need trouble but need crack even less.. Thanks for your opinions..

Meth has a lot more smoke. Cat pee/ burnt plastic ammonia smell. Ring any bells?
