Help needed from LAPD Calgunners

Hello,
My girlfriend is conducting a survey/questionnaire and would like to interview any sworn full time LAPD employee.
The interview would be over the phone.
The topic of discussion would be mental health support system and the BSS program.
The report/study could be published.
Its for medical school.

I guess she tried to call the LAPD station and was given a really hard time by whoever answered the phone.

I am also an LEA, I understand its a sensitive issue.
