Why would traffic stops become riskier if law abiding citizens carry guns in their cars? This is exactly the mentality that tramples the 2nd Amendment is this state.
I have encountered 100's of firearms in the past 28 years during traffic stops. Among them were several CCW's. Of those, EVERY single one of them told me the gun was in the car, some without me having to ask. And I'm sure there were several times where the subject never came up, and the traffic stop was completed with me never knowing there was a gun in the car. With a CCW comes tremendous responsibility and understanding of the "Big Picture". Those that understand this won't have any issues. The ones that don't get it will ruin it for everyone.
