Ahhhh the good old days in academy. I would rather get sprayed than tased. I been sprayed several times when I worked in custody, accidentally of course. Dorms being gassed during riots, ahhh miss that aromma. Haven't been exposed to pepper spray or gas in patrol much. Effects and feeling of taser scares me more....

Ive been sprayed with def tec, sabre red, galls brand, exposed to cs and cn but the worst of all for me was the damn to hell aerko freeze plus p. As an instructor ive been exposed to alot of agents but that freeze plus p was the worst for me. I still remember the name of the LASD instructor that sprayed me. Great times. I think my OC days are finally over. Who knows, I may volunteer just one more time for s..ts and giggles.

I was an instructor and I was exposed to the gas all the time on the recruit gas day. Also, when I went through the FBI Chemical Weapon Instructor school, I was exposed to different chemicals everyday. By far, the OC was the worst.

They sprayed the OC on the face for about 5 seconds, and it burned all day. And, when I took shower at night, it burned yet again......

Was the LASD instructor a big guy?

I am the oddball, I would rather get OC'd again than tazed. Looks like I am getting tazed in May when I get back though.....

Got tear gassed (again) last night. Eh.

Ah yes, remember it like yesterday, it sucked that hard. It was all fun and games and singing the National Anthem until the instructors (a couple of FBI guys) decided that we were doing too well and fired a couple of Ferret rounds into the gas house. Wasn't so fun after that! At least we didn't have OC back then...
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

                    The instructor was covaru....
great guy. I ended up working at the STARS center where he was assigned. I laughed every time i would see him. He got me good. I volunterred to go first in my training class and he hosed me for about 10 seconds. Man that stuff burned. It took me about 45 minutes to come off that one. Good stuff. And to make it even better, that training day didnt count and i had to go ti another ciurse about a month later and enjoy it all once more. That time it was the sabre red and that took me about 15 minutes ti be ok. Great times.

I got to skip the gas since I had bronchitis, but the OC was miserable. For 3-4 hours even. Taser is way easier...after it shuts off. Makes me a bit crazy when folks snivel about Tasers killing dopers who are resisting arrest. Makes me want to...Tase them....

We dont even have tasers...oc was awful. And after we switched to a new saber oc...well the shower that night was just delightful. I really like when you're crying in the shower as it reactivated, and then the water carries it down to your dangley bits...god that sucked.

Mistake number one after oc was letting it run down from my face in the shower. Should have listened and leaned back to keep it away from washing down my...well you know. Hahaha. Everyone did the same thing. I remember one of the guys saying "If this is what an std feels like, damn, I don't want one!!!" He realized what he said and we about pissed our pants laughing.

OC was horrible. I would rather do the gas house or get tased again.
