    Retirement Badge Mounting

I'm thinking about getting my badges (different ranks I held) mounted in Lexan, lucite or something similar. Does anyone know of any companies in the OC/LA/IE area that do such work?

    Thx.

I just used a shadowbox from Hobby Lobby and mounted the items myself. (Badges, patches, ID Cards, call box keys)
I don't want my stuff permanently sealed in some solid block.

This is what I plan of doing in the next few months. My agency doesn't require the Lucite block thing.

Ditto this. Are you mandated to Lucite or something similar?

IMO, Lucite is great for the desk but a shadow box looks even better on the wall in accompaniment for the shoulder patches, rank patches, collar brass, and maybe the ID.

The reason I was thinking Lucite is that I would give a badge to each of my kids after I was gone (3 kids, three badges.). I don't plan on going anywhere for a long time, so the shadow box sounds like a good idea. I should own stock in Hobby Lobby, considering how much my wife shops there. It will be a good craft project for her.
