    Boot Shining Near Chino Hills

Like the title says, does anyone know of good place near Chino Hills where I can get my boots and Sam Brown polished?

I know about Akademy Uniforms and Code 7 in LA, but those are too far to drive.

    Thanks.

If you are in an academy do it yourself!

The car wash shine's around here kinda suck. I'd say go to LA or do it yourself.

Thanks for all the replies. Yes, I am starting a reserve academy next week. I have already been through a reserve academy and served as a reserve police officer for a few years back in the 1990s and it is kind of a long story why I have to re-attend a full academy and am not able to attend a requalification class.

My Rocky boots have not been worn since 2005 and have been sitting on a shelf in my garage all these years. I need to have them professionally stripped and shined just this once. After that I will shine them myself.

You are right about the Sam Brown. I can easily do that myself. However, the Sam Brown and all the pouches are basket weave. Can basket weave be shined? My previous agency had plain leather belts and pouches so that is what I have experience shining.

Probably worth the one time trip to Akademy for the boot strip and shine. Those guys work fast. 30 mins and done!

As for the Sam Browne, Shape Up or Leather Luster works great. It's a polymer so it won't crack or rub off. Shines the basketweave right up. I think uniform shops like Keystone in Covina or Coptown in Rancho Cucamonga sells a bottle for $8-$10. You'll only have to use it every couple of years.

Inland Uniform/Galls in Riverside use to have guys inside their store... I heard recently they got the boot after quarter master bought them out but have since setup shop in that same general vicinity. I'll see if I can find some more info and update later, but start there.

Thanks for the help, Jaysen, but I found a place in Fullerton for my boots.

Prestine uniforms in Rancho Cucamonga. Fast and not expensive.
