    Found some neat historical stuff...

My Grandma and Grandpa were both Police Officers in Albany, Ca from the late '60's to the early '80's. While going through some of thier stuff, I came across some mint copies of the Alameda County DA "Point Of View" bulletins, dating from 1972 to 1973, along with California DOJ "Peace Officer Law Report" booklets from the same period, and a California Peace Officer Association newsletter as well as a Northern California Safe and Burglar Investigators report.

It's all very cool stuff, and I'd hate to throw it away. Any suggestions on a museum or archives or anyone who might be interested in this stuff? I'm very sentimental and also a pack-rat, which makes this very difficult, but its gotta go. There's even briefing notes on some of them where my Grandpa's initials went after briefing the squad on the updates. Thumbing through these is a trip down memory lane, but I'm hoping someone else will appreciate them. Thanks.

There is always the National Law Enforcement Museum. http://www.nleomf.org/museum/

It's not open yet but I know they were (probably still are) looking for items of interest for displays.

Contact the city see if there is anyone preserving the cities history. They may have a small museum of display of city artifacts somewhere.
