I'm in agreement. I can only try to understand how difficult it is. Decisions must be made quickly. Also, a soldier knows when going into battle his/her life is on the line, whereas LEO come under attack mostly unexpectedly.

People here seem to believe all authority figures are evil. The only other reason to lack respect for LEOs is if you are guilty.

How many positive posts will there be before someone posts a clip of "this guy", or "that situation gone bad"?

Guess what? Every field/profession has SNAFUs; doctors, engineers, hookers.... Deal with it.

It continues to amaze me that no matter how high the honor level / track record of the officer / agency and no matter how logically and accurately the SOP is followed, LE always lose one way or another. There is no total win for them and they continue to receive so much heat from the ignorant.

You have to wonder what keeps these brave people moving forward each day and the level of honor that they retain within themselves.

It is always a good thing to see that people still understand and recognize them as heroes in a world where children are no longer raised to become the future heroes of society.
