Study material for SD Sheriff test?

I have a test date scheduled in about a month from now.
Other than the study guide from their web site which is a little light. Is there a good book or other info I can read prior?

Download the POST sample battery test. (Modeled after that) took it a few years back, its pretty easy. Study cloze, which is sentences with missing words. Brush up punctuation, grammar.

Oh......study big words used in LE, theyll try and confuse you with those. Bring any documents,legal, finances etc. They throw you a curve ball after the test with a pre investigative questionaire.

Save yourself some money by going to your local library and borrow SAT study guide. I took it two years ago and it is not that bad at all.

There really isn't any need to study. The test is pretty easy/straightforward.

1) You'll want to learn how to spell sheriff correctly. They might see that as being pretty important.

2) You should probably never begin a sentence with a question mark. That's typically saved for after you've completed the sentence.

3) Also, all questions should end in a question mark. Periods aren't appropriate here.

4) Don't break up one complete sentence with a period.

I understand this is just an online forum, but get into the habit of writing simple short complete correct sentences now. It'll help you when you take the test and it'll help you in your career.
