Vest sizes are more than SM. MD, LG ect. There is a proper way to size a individual for a vest through a series of measurements..... It's like getting measured for a suit.....

Whatever you do, get it properly fit by using a brick and mortar store with competent employees. Typically, LEO uniform shops can do this.

For a concealable, level IIIA with front and back plates; "Ceramic"
Hit up USARMOR.com they have some nice gear for reasonable prices...Under 1000 I paid $750 for my IIIA Survival Armor Concealable, It came with multiple size straps and to styles of side straps. Ive used it for 6 years now and I think its time for a new one. Just check out galls.com opsgear.com uscav.com copsplus.com and safariland.com. Good luck and research a lot more since its a personable buy!

Take a good look at US Armor products. I've tried most of the brands on the market and US Armor is by far the lightest and most comfortable.

I wear a Second Chance and it seems good so far, make sure you go into a store and have one fitted for your body type.
