    It would depend on how many other 922r compliant parts are on the gun in addition to the magazine. When I built my AK, I made sure there were plenty of USA made parts where it counted, so 922r would never be an issue in case I was out of state using milsurp mags.

    Honestly, unless the officer is with ATF or is a gun enthusiast they're not going to have a clue about 922r anyways. The ATF guy you might have to worry about, the other not so much, unless you are being a "Richard" about it and making him want a reason to haul you away.

        let me ask this. If you have a khydex grip on a pistol grip would it have to meet 922r?
