    Under the knife again

I am not trying to garner any sympathy, tho I will accept firearms, ammo and money. I just thought I'd mention it in case I'm not feeling well enough to be logged on for a bit. I hurt my right knee about a month and a half ago just by increasing my speed on the treadmill at the gym by .2, yes, only 2/10 of a mile per hour to 4mph. Unbelievable!

A CT scan showed a Baker's cyst, which is basically fluid were it isn't supposed to be. The doc said that generally means a meniscus tear, tho the CT scan didn't show where. Due to a neurostimulator implant in my back, I can't have a MRI, which they wanted to do. A cortisone injection did nothing but hurt like the dickens.

So, tomorrow (3-26) at 1400hrs., he will, with an arthroscope, try to find and fix the tear that he believes is there. Out patient surgery and probably on crutches for a few days. No driving for a couple of weeks I imagine.

I am soooo tired of surgery.

    "See" you later guys.

Good luck! My buddy went through the same thing a few months ago. You'll bounce back before you know it.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic man. Retired will be that man. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.

Hang in there and take care.

You'll be back before you know it. I had my 4th knee procedure done last November. Good luck take it easy, and do everything they tell you at physical therapy.

Good luck and a speedy recovery.

I've had arthroscopic surgery twice on the same knee over the last year and drained I don't know how many times. It's amazing what they can do these days, I walked out of the surgery center both times. Seems like it is holding up this time. Really wasn't too bad actually. Getting old sucks, but it beats the alternative.

Damn senior, looking at the title, I was freaked you had cancer or something. You'll get on with your life, regardless the pain.
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.
