Surefire X300 Ultra & Duty Holster Compatability

    Hello,

I am interested in a Surefire X300 for duty use and my agency uses the Safariland 6360 ALS holster. My current agency sidearm is equipped with a Streamlight TLR-1 Weaponlight. The Safariland 6360 ALS holster is confirmed to be compatible with the Streamlight TLR-1 and the Surefire X300/200 weaponlights. Has anyone here confirmed or has experience with the compatability of the Surefire X300 Ultra and the Safariland 6360 ALS duty holster? The Surefire X300 and the Surefire X300 Ultra appear to be different sizes. Thanks.

It will work. The x300 ultra is just a tad longer than the 170 lumen model x300. I changed my gun light to the ultra model and did not have to change my Safariland ALS holster.
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

I have a 6280 Safariland that is rated for the M&P 9mm with the TLR-1 or regular Surefire X300. In order for the X300 Ultra to fit in the holster you have to knock the plastic cup out of the bottom of the holster. It just pops out.

6360 will accept the ultra, however the 6280 will not work with the ultra because on 1/8 inch extra length, if you remove the "light cup cover" from the holster you will void the warranty from Safariland...

I had to do the same thing. I put the X300 on my Sig P220 Elite Stainless and had to knock out the plastic cup. The X300 has a crenelated(sp) bezel that is just a tad longer. I would not worry about the plastic cup. I don't see how Safariland can attribute holster failure, to the plastic cup being removed.

Screw the X300 Ultra! Stream light has the 630 Lumens TLR1 HL that is half the cost of a ultra!!!! Bad *** weapon light! And it fits all existing holster!!!

Void the warranty? Hell....mine fell out within 2 weeks. No clue where it went. My last one always popped out too.

I had purchased a TRL1 for my Sig 226. Problem was, after mounting the light, My Sig would not fit in the holster........
I called Safariland and they informed me that the Surefire TRL1 would not work on my 226 in that holster. They said only the X200 and X300 would work.

                      Holster Specs: P-226R SF X200 Holster. 6280-7740
