Does anyone know how to get a point off your DMV record?

Long story short, my uncle was driving through AZ and got a speeding ticket. Paid it, but was not given an option for driving school. He resides in CA. Now he was a point and is wondering if there is any way of having that taken off?

I got hit with one of those traffic cams in AZ. I paid it and that was it. No points or any change in insurance costs. I am/was a CA resident though.

LOL, you shouldn't have paid it. Only have to pay it if they serve you in person.....

chalk that one up as "lesson learned"....

If you weren't offered traffic school, I'm pretty sure the only way to take a point off is waiting three years for minor infractions.

            Yes.

Also, if you log onto the website to view your pic, they will take that as proof of service usually as well....

Does that really work? A coworker's husband ignored the letter and then got hit with a letter from the credit bureau attaching his credit report and dinging him for the amount owed.

I have read that too. But not worth a warrant or more fines etc. Better off just paying the 150$

Next time I drive through AZ I am going to wear a mask or take my plates off.
