    Speed Camera?

    Hello,
So I have noticed these cameras, starting to pop up here and there. Well ojnly a couple really, one pair in Perris on Markham ST. and two pairs on Gilman SPrings going from Moreno Valley to Hemet. If you go over 55 or what ever the posted speed limit is, they flash. Are they actually taking pictures, or is it just to slow people down? I notice that people don't even slow and just ignore them. Any ideas besides Aliens?

They are not cameras. They are simply advisory signs. Once you get 5mph over the speed limit it stops displaying the speed (to keep people from seeing how fast they can go) and the strobes flash.

On another note, CHP and MoVal motors have been working Gilman Springs really hard lately.

Thanks Ron. I was just wondering, and I have noticed a lot of CHP in the area. I always have to go the speed limit, because they have GPS on our vans now and our supervisors get an email if we go over.
