    weird vehicle question

Hey guys, quick question. I have a buddy, whose car is registered in Texas. We are both here in Virginia currently for school, but he is headed to San Diego when we are done. Anyway, his windows ate tinted iaw Texas law. He visited new York last weekend and got a ticket for his tint. Now, dlsince his car is registered and legal in Texas, is the ticket legit? When I was in the academy, I never thought to bring up a situation like this.

    Thanks,
    Jamie

It varies from state to state. Some impose all equipment regs on out of state vehicles, some don't.

Its illegal to operate a vehicle in VA without an inspection, however I don't have to have one because I am registered in Florida. Its not always black and white.

No tinted windows here on front door windows or windshield pass top strip, no matter where it's registered.
