Are CA LEOs exempt from NFA SBR laws?

I know a few too. But they are all departmentally owned and issued to the cops as part of their safety equipment.

This is the only way I know. My buddy has a 14.5" Commando for work. Department owned. He gets to drive it home everyday in his car.
