If you're thinking about it, then do it. I got hired at 22 after putting myself through an academy. I couldn't imagine doing anything else for a living.

Still lots of LE's hiring outside of CA, Texas is a hot spot. Also, your degree is awesome but not required by any means, yes, even here in CA in the smaller departments.

Good luck, I'm biased towards Federal LE but experience is typically a must.
