I am not a LEO and forgive me if this is all old news, but I sort of recall that a few officers were burn a few years ago for selling off roster pistols to non-LEOs. They were charged with being unlicensed firearms dealers if they had more than a few sales. This past week a US Ditrict Court judge found the ATF ruling on which Califronia was acting was unsonctitutional. See this article. I am not sayhing that anyone should sell off roster firearms and you should be aware of rules and retgulations withing your agencies. Also that is a West Texas Dsitrict Judge. Just saying.
