Well that is what they require. So maybe contact their legal department.

Just get a coe which is super easy and you can have ammo delivered to your house legally w no issues.

You also need a 03 FFL to go with that COE for direct ammo shipments. The OP is trying to use an existing exemption for direct ammo purchases without having to violate the U.S.C. section RickD mentioned.

They just gave me boiler plate response about uploading creds, hence asking here. I was hoping a FLEO in CA would have done something with them previously.

Unless you get a COE, don't photocopy your creds. I don't know what kind of FLEO you are, but if youre anything along the lines of 1811/1801/CBP/BP, thats a no go.

If it's a federal badge, or ID Card, there most certainly is a violation.
