    Can LEOs put crimson trace or anything on the on duty?

    Some don't like it but anything to give an advantage wouldn't be a bad idea

    Some departments allow it and some don't. The argument against it is that they don't want you slowing down your reaction time looking for the dot. I carried a light/laser combo on my Glock.

      My department issues Kimbers with CT laser grips to SWAT and Rangemasters.

            LASD allows CT and M3 lights. LAPD allows M3 lights. Most other agencies which have moved into the 2000's and even the 2010's allow the M6 light/laser, TLR-2, strobe, etc.

            Quite a few departments out yonder only let K9 or SWAT have the cool toys though and not patrol, which blows my mind.
