True true... so if you reported it, maybe then they can start tracking this type of crime in your area.

Down south carries on an empty chamber? Seriously??

That makes my stomach turn. Doesn't take a genius to point out that when the S hits the fan, any cognitive reasoning of "hey, I gotta cycle my weapon, then repoint at bad guy, get good sight picture, etc" is gonna go sideways. Are the LASD stil going with Beretta's, and do they have safeties?

Our agency carries Sig 226R, 1 chambered, no safeties except a double/single action. Heavier first pull so you mean it when you fire. They found that having safeties or needing to manipulate the weapon got people shot. Maybe we just hire a lot more retards than y'all, but I like my duty weapon ready to fire, not sitting empty.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to the 870 as cocked w/empty chamber, not the sidearm.

              "crashed" as in vehicle?

wouldn't that cause some real damage?

Is your front entry so wide a car's bumper can bump the doors without touching anything else?

That's what I thought but then he probably meant someone pounding on it hard with fists or entering something to get you to open your door.

I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering. The times I've responded to someone crashing into the entrance of a home, the vehicle was still stuck

I don't know, the O/P is known for his precise use of words.
