Never. BUT, I Have put two contact lenses in the Same eye before... not sure which is worse, having no short term memory or being so conditioned as to automatically show up for work...

No, but I have driven 1/2 of the way to the wrong location after I was promoted and transfered at work.

Yes, when I was a firefighter and the wife was on vacation without me. Proved her right--I needed a keeper.

A partner of mine made it all the way to roll call on a day off. They switched his day for him.

No, but I have know a couple of others that have. I have also had partners show up at work after forgetting to bring their pistol to work with them...

I hate hearing "You're not on the detail today." Oops.

I've shown up on the right day on prior arranged gigs but the ones in charge forgot to tell me they cancelled me so I bill them anyway. Not my fault.

I showed up for swing shift a couple of years ago on Presidents day. After I realized the security guard wasn't messing with me, I was driving out the gate, he called me and said there was a truck that needed unloading with a fork truck, had to use a the 10 ton lift truck so the teamsters couldn't time card me. I got holiday pay for 4 hours, so it wasn't a wasted trip to work. Of course, everyone was making fun of me until I asked how much they made that day, lol.

No, but I've gotten my RDO's screwed up and gotten a call at home: "WTF are you, numbnuts?"

I've also gotten this phone call: "Did you forget about your subpoena today?"

I'm guilty of the above subpoena comment.

ha ha ha. Had worked a 14 day shift (all 12 plus hours some trades and O/T) on the last day pulled in my driveway and was trying to find my mic to put myself 10-97. LOL.

I've done that... trying to reach for the mic that is not there on my POV when I got home.
