    VERY few front door kicks.
Pretty much agree with the above, although I used to see a lot of window prys on older single pane glass with aluminum frames. Front door kicks are very rare birds in my experience.

Around where I live the side doors to the garage tend to be chintzy pieces of crap that a light tap can often jar loose a lower panel.

Just to add from my experience in the insurance industry: unlocked doors and windows, open garage doors, broken windows, kicked in or bar thrashed doors. Never saw a picked lock - known that is. Did see suspicion of spare keys being found and used.

Ditto on the unlocked doors. In some of our neighborhoods, up to 80% of residential burglaries are with no forced entry. Regarding the bump keys, I have not seen many (any really) in my area. With the number of people to pick from that leave their doors unlocked, why bother taking the time or expense of learning how to bump key. Remember, bad guys go for the path of least resistance. In the wild, predators go after the weak, lame, or inattentive. In our world, so do the bad guys. All you have to do is make your house a minute bit harder to get into than your neighbor's house, and they will leave yours alone.

A good alarm system that is connected goes a long way. Door alarms, wireless setup with a cellular device to call so the wires can't be cut. We have no home phone, but a lot of guns, and a great setup for a security system. Driveway sensors and what not so I know if somebody is approaching the front of my house, flood lights in the back on the truck, and motion sensors all over the place. My only door you could enter is actually a front door and its locked and dead bolted, along with a metal security door with a lock and dead bolt as well. Dogs also act as a good deterrent for morons as they hear things WAY before we do.
