So I have a few upcoming test for various departments (LAUSD School Police, Hawthorne, LASD and LAPD) and I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thank you guys. I know they're pretty straight forward, but any advice would be appreciated.

LASD: grammar, spelling, and reading comprehension
LAPD: essay only

I'm taking the LAPD written test in a few hours. I'll let you know how it goes afterwards.
Edit: So the test was pretty easy. Only 3 short essay questions. The questions are all about your personal experiences.
