Ok so I've been having an ongoing problem and I don't know what to do anymore. I've been having FTF's with my X300 attached to my duty Glock. Spoke to my range staff and they advised to change out the springs to my magazines (11 coil springs now) and I have. Ran the new springs this weekend at my local range and had the same problem after 5 or so shots. Easy answer I know would be to run my gun without the light, but I don't like that option much. Any suggestions?

It's not the springs, it's the follower. If you have a light attached to the gun, you need to have a #7 or higher follower in the magazine. Also, make sure the light isn't too tight on the frame. It should only be tight enough that it doesn't come off and not so tight it tweaks the frame.

I just had some recent fail to fire issues on my ever trusty G23 gen 2. What I found was that the firing pin wasn't moving freely caused by several issues. It was working fine one moment and then wouldn't fire anything anymore.
I broke it down and found the firing pin spacer sleeve was cracked at the cut away portion (probably from years of breaking it down) this was barely noticable until there is pressure on it. I also found that the spring cups were worn pretty bad, and the firing pin channel sleeve was scored as well, possibly frm the broken spacer sleeve.
I ordered all new, and a set of spares from the Glockstore.com and in a couple of days I had them. to pull the channel liner from the slide, I used a 5/16-18 tap. I threaded it in a few turns then it pulled right out. I slid in the new one and finished seating it with a 5/16 wooden dowel. I added the new spring cups and sleeve and I am as good as new again.
most was probably normal wear and tear. I probably have 10k rounds through it or more. I possibly cracked the sleeve when you insert a screwdriver on the sleeve and push down to remove the slide cover. Good luck!

Gen 3 Glock 22, and my next step is to change the followers. We use ranger xt ammo can't remember the grain at the moment. I have asked they said they would do the work, but I just found it easier to order the springs on my own.Comment

How many round thru the pipe? Have you replaced the recoil spring? I run a Blackhawk on my 22, gen 3 with no issues to date...Just picked up a 19 for training and have an X300 on it, gun is new with no issue. My 21SF has an X200 also with no feeding issues to date.Gordon -

A couple of things I have seen on our range.
1. you could be limp wristing the gun.
2. Use adequate lube on your rails barrel etc.
3. Firing pin channel should be dry (no lube) with slide removed shake the upper slide and the firing pin should rattle back and fourth freely.
Most items I have seen were operator error on the Glocks or lack of maintenance.
