    LEO Active Shooter Vests

So active shooter tactics came up during briefing and I casually mentioned that having an LBE or ballistic vest with Molle pouches would be useful to throw on in such circumstances.

Thus I was made point man to find out what LEO's are making/using/buying as a quick don type vest that holds ammo/radio/first aid, etc.

There's a lot of plate carrier discussion in the main forums, but I'd rather hear from some partners who use what is portable and functional to you rather than a bunch of zombie shtf nonsense. I need something that works as a grab and go out of the patrol car trunk, not something that looks bichin' at the range.

Thanks in advance for any and all input!

I'll PM you. I have some rigs I used in patrol and I have some info you may or may not know about dept plans.

Ditto, except I'm a mushroom - nobody (including SCD) tells me nothing...

I have a Condor plate carrier with Maxpro rifle plates. It has molle, vecro for patches, and a drag strap. Got the plates and carrier at uscav.com.
