Finally after being out of the academy for for 16 months I got my job offer yesterday from Kern County Sheriff's Department. For all of you out there still looking for full time work, there are jobs out there if you keep looking. It is definitely well worth it in the end.

To everyone looking, try some of the community college districts as well. Not a great place to spend an entire career due to the money, but it's a great place to start if you really are looking for a job.
