    got her done

    Hey all,

went and took the state LE exam last Wednesday. 250 questions, I finished in 70 minutes. Got the results yesterday, and I passed. I wish I knew what my percentage score was, but they only list pass/fail.

Anyway, now to work on the reserve deputy application.

      Congratulations!!

Is the reserve position you mentioned different from the state exam position you tested for.

In any case, continue your PT. You want to be fully in shape before entering any academy. If you ever watched any of the short lived "The Academy" tv episodes, you will easily note some people obviously thought they could get in shape while they went thru the academy. They quickly discovered it doesn't work that way. They were an embarrassment.

I'm of course not inferring that is what you are doing or you are in that type of shape. I just want you to realize, if you already did not, that you have to be in shape prior to the academy if you have any hope of passing the PT part of it.

      Good luck.

Actually, I completed the academy already. I started in April, M-F, 1700-2200, and graduated 09NOV11. After the academy, I took the state certification test.

The reserves down here are certified in the same manner as the active duty guys.

As far as staying in shape, I am active duty Navy, so I try to stay in pretty good shape anyway.

thanks for the well wishes though. It's appreciated.
