Retired LEO Interstate CCW weapons inspection

Retired LEO Interstate CCW weapons inspection:

I got an email yesterday telling me my qualification for the retired LEO interstate CCW will take place on the 16th. of this month and requires that my weapon be inspected and test fired by an armorer or guns smith.

Does anyone know where in the SF East Bay area or nearby that I can have a
Kahr PM9 and a Sig Sauer P230 inspected. I have to have it done before the 15th. of this month.

Is it your agency which sent you the email?

The LEOSA (50 state CCW) only requires annual qualification which meets the standards set forth by the agency you retired from...Nothing in the LEOSA requires annual inspections of your CCW firearms.

So if your near where you retired from go there. If not just call your local PD or Sheriff's department and ask if they do annual LEOSA quals for retired LEO's.

In addition the annual qualification needs to be listed on your retired ID card in some way or another to meet the requirements under the LEOSA

(LEOSA) Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act)
