Take a look at the 'Course Catalog' on the CA POST site. You are likely looking for the 40 hour 'firearms instructor' class. It will have a list of the organizations that have active programs. Then check out the organization's website for more info.
If you are in SoCal, Riverside SD should have one coming up in December then again in March. -

Click on the CLASSES drop down menu and check out the FIREARMS course offerings and the TACTICAL course offerings.

Los Rios Community college is where we send our people. We have also sent a few to Alameda County SO. FBI was once popular with our PD and our SO uses them.Comment
