    LASD job app question

On the posting for job apps on LASD it has a posting for trainee and trainee/post... What's the difference? Which would I apply to if I wanted to become a sworn officer?

    Thank you for the help

Believe it means that "trainee" means you have not got your post certificate yet. "Trainee/post" means you already have a post certificate and are applying for the position. Either way your a trainee. Just helps the hiring people, recruiters. Good luck.

^ What he said. Trainee is a fresh recruit. Trainee/POST is a lateral, or someone looking to go from jails to patrol.
