    Pregnant LEOs and firearms training

    Apropos to this thread, does your agency have a policy regarding firearms training and pregnant LEOs? If so, what is it?

    LASD.....once they inform You they are pregnant, NO weapons training at all until after child is born. Can also be exempted during breast feeding period upon request.

          Because we're a public safety agency dominated by the Fire Control side the policy is set up much like the one non sequitur posted, basically light/modified duty until after the baby doc ok's it. The range master is the final say as far as weapons quals, I wouldn't allow them on to the range and I was in the majority
