    Recert schools

    Hello,
Sorry if this has been discussed before... but I'm looking to recert my academy POST cert. I went and worked as a non sworn position and let mine lapse. I have the opportunity to get a sworn position now, I just need to renew it. Any recommendations? I've heard Yuba's has been reinstated, and that[s the best for me location wise. I'm in Jackson, CA so socal is not preferred as I wouldn't be able to come home every weekend and would be living in a skany motel for 3 weeks straight.
Any opinions or experiences with any of them, and any ideas what I can expect?

Sacramento Regional Public Safety Training Center at McClellan or Napa Valley Criminal Justice Training Center in Napa are your closest locations that offer ReCert Classes. I don't think Yuba is up and running yet..

I re-certified at Napa in 1999. Good presentation.
