So what phone apps do you use to aid you while your on duty?

Pc/hs/vc apps?

Pill id apps?

US Cop, it has pill ID, case laws, etc.

Also on my home screen (iPhone), I have shortcuts to the Arizona Revised Statutes (Az Laws) website, decodethis.com, wunderground.com, and the NCIC color codes.

I have an app for compass. It shows the direction that I need sometimes for crime scene sketchs.

my dept made it manadatory to download an app that tracks us and shows our location on a screen in the WC's office. It also sets off an alarm when your are idle for an hour or form a negative opinion about something that happened at work....we are waiting for a grant that will purchase a chip that will be placed in our necks to monitor b/a levels and other action on and off duty. j/k

Safari takes care of most of my needs because I can browse my personal email and google porn if I get bored. I also have IMDB so I can read up on new movies and watch trailers. Flashlight is a good app since I am too lazy to carry a real one (they're heavy!) and the strobe function is cool when I feel a little disco coming on in the car. There's the horoscope app, recipe exchange app, and shazam so I can find out what song is playing on the radio. Youtube is good for searching for reviews on toys I want to buy.

And the ultimate app for work, ANGRY BIRDS!

Notorious ....awesome post :-) +1 for angry birds.

I use epocrates for a pill id, white pages to get phone numbers/addresses, tape-talk to record convos, and of course google is my best friend.

This thread caused me to purchase US Cop for $2.99...Stupid thing doesn't even work. Angry Birds is still my number one on duty app.

trapster...to see when someone registers a radar/lidar spot that I use. It's kind of aggrevating, but sometimes awesome to know that so many people have published certain spots and I can still get them
