I was wondering about legally transporting my Ruger LC9, locked in a container in my car, with the magazine removed BUT with a round left in the chamber. Since the LC9 won't fire with the magazine removed, I know the chambered round is operationally irrelevant, but is there any chance the gun is also rendered legal in that condition?
