CDCR hiring process??

What is an applicant to expect during the scheduled exam and so forth. If this has been covered please direct to the relevant thread. Thanks so much.

I think once you apply for the position, you will have to wait until they reply back to you. I believe that can take up to 3 weeks or so. After that, you will have to pass the written exam and oral board. If you pass those, I think then comes the background check and drug test. I think the whole process will take about one year.

What can I expect from the written exam. Ive taken two written tests for two police departments and passed. Are the CDCR tests similar?

No, I believe CDCR written exam will be different then police written exam. I remember probation & correctional written exam was different then regular police entrance exam.
