    Totasak polymer Knuckles Legality

These are basically polymer knuckles but wanted to hear it from the horses mouth. It is used for carrying groceries and such, also heavy pales anything you can slide on it. Would you arrest me for carrying this?

Look at it this way: a tool is just a tool when its used within its design parameters as a tool. However......if that same tool is used against a person and if its use against that person results in serious injury or death or could result in serious injury or death, then it is no longer a tool being used as a tool....it now becomes a deadly weapon. Steeltoe boots, bricks, baseball bats, rocks, cars, boats, dogs....take your pick. It is what it is until you use or attempt to use them to inflict serious injury or death upon another person.

exacty. be spotted carrying that in your car to/from the grocery store and you'll probably not have a problem.

But be spotted living the Thug Life on the corner at 2AM with that in your back pocket and the scenario changes.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Very well put thanks for clearing that up. I guess cold steel inferno, and my knife will have to do.

check under the prohibited weapon law 12020 PC it has a sub section for plastic knuckles. If you were caught you would be arrested for and your lawyer would have to try to dismiss the charg. Also if you do carry a knife be sure the blade is covered if the is in a pocket. If the knife can be removed from a pocket and it is capable of causing a cut without opening it, then it becomes a dirk or dagger. a folding knife is the best way to keep out of trouble.

As sendithit stated so well, it is in the use of the tool. The local DA was charging a motorcycle "group" with 12020 PC as they were carrying ball-pen hammers, to be used as clubs.
