Oakley boots t8

Has any one been using the new style of oakley boots? I just received them today and noticed they changed them...alot. I'm grateful for oakleys duty discount but why they gotta change a good thing. Or am I the only person who feels that way

I know a lot of their old boots use to fall apart within a year of heavy use. A lot of co workers swore them off and went back to the heavier Danners.

Maybe change is a good thing?

I loved the look and feel of the oakleys but I did not purchase due to the fact I cannot shine them to what the Academy wants them to be shined too... When I graduate I was planning on getting them for patrol. But who knows, my 5.11 ATAC's are pretty nice IMO.

I'm waiting on my Tactical Six's to come in. Chose them over the SI cause I could polish them, waterproof and I wanted a 6" boot. Hopefully they work out!

Get Danners from VF Solutions and exchange them for some of the lighter "tactical" Danners.

Looks like they changed the material to allow for a better shine, Not sure if I like them though, I'll start looking for boots again. I posted them for sale in the marketplace in case anyone is interested
